Dead Meadow are n Antons Record label the committee to keep music evil, the used to be a 3 piece now there a four i think, theres a whole 2 hour gig on moshcam of theirs...


Not the greatest clip but this is Matt Hollywoods new band he has with Pete Holmstrem of the Dandy warhols, i have heard a couple of live bootleg clips that were real good, waiting on the album due out later this year.


This is by a new thing Antons doing called the dead skeletons, made up of him, some guy Nonni (golden frost on my bloody underground) and Henrijvk from singapore sling, fucked up drug dance music.


Possibly the greatest nz band of all time, i mean i can't think of any other band from here that has a collection as strong as The Chills they opened foir Jonestown in dunedin, they still tour from time to time and i can;t wait to see them next time they do! but check this fucking song! how good are his lyrics! that chick on drums is amazing too.


Antoher Dunedin gem the Verlaines, never had shit all success but they sound better then any band in christchruch i have ever heard.

Now this band origionally formed in christchurch, fucking excellent, get their album called couchmaster!!! there is actually all this great shit that was on flying nun in the late 80's and early 90's just the best songwriters!

Oh and kent i have to tell you about this fag, thomas coffey from here, trying to say the phoenix foundation ripped off this piece of shit counting crowes rubbish...
